Bespoke Cabinetry & Joinery
for Interior Designers

At Foxstow, we work with interior designers to manufacture bespoke cabinetry and fitted joinery for considered residential interiors.

From kitchens and bedrooms to dressing rooms, bathrooms, boot rooms, and studies, we create made-to-order joinery that supports the wider design scheme. We can work from developed designs and specifications, or collaborate during the design process where finishes and cabinetry need to be developed further.

Our role is to help turn your design into practical joinery while maintaining the character, proportions and details that make the scheme your own.

Pale Blue Shaker Wardrobes

Cabinetry Without a Fixed House Style

Foxstow is often associated with traditional cabinetry, but our work is not restricted to a single aesthetic.

We manufacture cabinetry to suit the individual project, from classic and Shaker-inspired interiors to contemporary, handleless, reeded and colour-drenched schemes. Each project can be developed around the proportions, profiles, finishes and detailing required for the wider interior.

Whether your design calls for understated contemporary joinery or highly detailed traditional cabinetry, we can manufacture to support the intended look of the space.

Colour, Finishes, & Materials

For interior designers, the finish of the cabinetry is often just as important as its construction.

We can work with specified paint colours, timber species, veneers, and other materials to help ensure the cabinetry sits naturally within the wider interior. This may include matching or coordinating with colours and finishes used elsewhere in the property.

Depending on the requirements of the project, specifications can include:

  • Paint colours and bespoke colour matching
  • RAL and NCS references
  • Colours from brands such as Farrow & Ball and Little Greene
  • Different sheen levels
  • Timber species and veneers
  • Door profiles and bespoke detailing
  • Reeded and textured finishes
  • Carcass and internal finishes
  • Client-specified handles and hardware

The aim is not to impose a predefined product range on the scheme, but to manufacture cabinetry that supports the overall material and visual direction.

Collection of Samples

Samples for You & Your Client

Material and finish decisions are often made collaboratively with the client, which is why samples form an important part of the process.

We can provide 300x300mm samples for studio and client presentations, as well as producing bespoke samples where a project requires a specific colour, finish, or profile to be reviewed.

This allows you to present cabinetry options alongside the other materials and finishes within the scheme, helping clients understand how the final joinery will work as part of the wider interior.

Working From Your Design Direction

We regularly manufacture cabinetry from interior designers' drawings, schedules, and specifications.

This can include:

  • Floor plans and elevations
  • Detailed cabinetry drawings
  • Finish and material schedules
  • Hardware and accessory specifications
  • Door and drawer configurations
  • Profiles and bespoke design features
  • Client-specified hardware
  • Dimensions and proportions developed as part of the wider scheme

Where all details have already been resolved, we can manufacture from the agreed design information. Where further technical input is needed, we can help resolve the practical aspects of construction, manufacture, and installation without losing sight of the original design intent.

A Cabinetry Partner That Supports Your Client Relationship

We understand that the interior designer is often leading the creative relationship with the client.

At Foxstow, we can work in a way that supports the structure of your project and the role you play within it. Depending on the requirements of the scheme, this may mean working directly alongside you throughout the process or remaining in the background.

The objective is to provide the manufacturing expertise you need while allowing you to retain ownership of the wider design relationship and creative direction.

Flexible Cabinetry Packages

Not every project requires every element to be completely bespoke.

We can supply individual made-to-measure components, doors, panels, and other joinery elements designed to work alongside third-party or standardised systems.

We are also familiar with projects combining bespoke cabinetry with systems such as Howdens and IKEA, where a consistent finish and level of detailing is required across the completed interior.

This gives interior designers greater flexibility when developing a cabinetry package around the available budget and project requirements.

Cabinetry Across the Whole Interior

Many interior schemes extend well beyond a single room.

Foxstow can manufacture cabinetry across kitchens, bedrooms, dressing rooms, bathrooms, boot rooms, utility rooms, studies, and other areas of the home. This allows materials and colours to be carried through the property while giving each space its own practical requirements and character.

For whole-house projects, this can help create a more cohesive approach to fitted furniture without every room feeling identical.
