Tailored Bedroom Cabinetry
Bedroom cabinetry developed from the room itself; storage resolved around how the space is used, designed to sit properly within it rather than be applied to it.
Bedroom cabinetry should feel calm, ordered, and properly resolved within the room.
At Foxstow, we design storage around how the space is used day to day, considering layout, access and proportion from the outset. This allows wardrobes and storage to sit naturally within the room, rather than feeling added on.
Internal layouts are carefully planned to ensure everything has a place, reducing visual clutter and making the space easier to live in.
Materials are selected and prepared with care, and components are manufactured using controlled, precise processes to ensure consistency across the whole scheme.
The result is a space that feels balanced, functional, and quietly integrated.

Shaping New or Existing Bedroom Cabinetry
Whether introducing entirely new storage or working with what is already in place, Foxstow approaches each project as a process of properly resolving the room; understanding what is needed, what exists, and how the two relate.
This may involve reworking internal layouts to improve usability, adjusting proportions so cabinetry sits more naturally within the space, or designing entirely new wardrobes and storage from first principles. In each case, the focus is on how the room is used day to day and how cabinetry can support that without excess or compromise.
Rather than applying a fixed system, every scheme is developed in response to the space itself, resulting in storage that feels considered, practical, and properly integrated.
Foxstow’s Fitted Bedroom Storage
Foxstow’s bedroom storage is not based on a set range but on a series of responses to different spatial requirements. Each piece is designed to resolve layout and proportion within the room.

Fitted Wardrobes
Wardrobes are designed in direct response to the available space, whether working wall-to-wall, within alcoves, or across constrained layouts. Internal configurations and overall proportions are determined by how the space needs to function, ensuring the result sits comfortably within the room rather than dominating it.

Walk-in Wardrobes & Dressing Rooms
Walk-in spaces are approached as small rooms in their own right. Storage and sightlines are considered together to ensure the layout works practically and feels coherent. The result is a space that is easy to use, with storage arranged in a way that supports visibility and access without unnecessary complexity.

Bedside & Storage Furniture
Additional pieces are designed as part of the wider scheme rather than as standalone items. Dimensions and detailing are aligned with the surrounding cabinetry to maintain consistency, while still responding to specific functional requirements.

Custom Replacement Doors
Foxstow produces fully custom replacement doors and panels to a bespoke specification. Each component is made to your exact measurements, using the same manufacturing process as our bespoke work. This approach is particularly well-suited if you are working with IKEA’s PAX, Howdens, or similar carcass systems and want a significant improvement in finish without replacing the underlying structure.

From First Conversation to Installation
Every project begins by understanding your space, requirements, and aspirations. We explore different layouts, storage solutions, cabinetry styles, and finishes, considering how the design will work within the wider room and your home.
We then develop concept sketch layouts, refining the preferred arrangement through discussion. Realistic 3D visualisations help you understand how the finished cabinetry will look before the design is agreed and progressed to production.
Once the concept is approved, we translate the design into detailed manufacturing drawings, resolving construction details, internal layouts, hardware, materials, and any requirements specific to the space.
With every detail considered, materials are selected and prepared for manufacture in our Oxfordshire workshop.
Every cabinet and component is manufactured in our Oxfordshire workshop, combining skilled craftsmanship with modern CNC machinery to ensure accuracy and consistency throughout the project.
Each piece is carefully constructed and finished to the agreed design and specifications, ready for delivery and installation.
As the project nears completion, delivery is arranged with the client or wider project team. Where required, we can work alongside your chosen installer or provide support to a trusted fitter, supplying the drawings and technical information needed for a successful installation.

Working Within an Existing Design
We also work with clients who already have a bedroom layout in place, often developed through systems such as IKEA or other fitted wardrobe suppliers. In these cases, we manufacture made-to-measure doors, drawer fronts, panels, and finishing components to create a more refined final result without replacing the existing cabinet structure entirely.
The process begins with the client’s plans or supplier drawings, which we review and translate into a Foxstow specification. Once approved, the order is checked internally and prepared for manufacture using the same careful production as our fully bespoke projects.
This approach works particularly well where the room layout and carcass system are already defined, but the client wants a finish that feels more integrated within the wider interior.

What Our Clients Say
We ordered our kitchen cabinet doors from Shaker Doors as they were the only door company offering slim shaker doors. The quality of the product was great and so was their customer service. We subsequently ordered more fronts for our utility room to match the kitchen ones. Couldn’t be happier. Thank you:)
Just an amazing company, I have had a lot of doors, panels etc in different styles made for me and all have been of the highest quality. The staff are very friendly and knowledgable of their products.
I would highly recommend Foxstow Kitchen and Cabinetry to all in need of their fantastic products.
I ordered wardrobe doors to fit the ikea pax, as well as a custom angled door. Foxstow were great - they were very responsive by email, the doors were perfectly to spec, and the doors easy to paint. They were definitely worth ordering from, and I'd recommend them!
Foxstow were excellent from start to finish. Jordan and Warren were both fantastic—professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I was kept informed throughout, including confirmation of the sizing and positioning of the panels and rails. Foxstow clearly know what they’re doing and operate with great efficiency.
Probably the best company I have ever dealt with. Jake was fantastic. He took us round the factory explaining all the stages that our order would go through and we were highly impressed with their set up and especially their quality control. He was never pushy. Once we accepted the quote they worked to our timetable. The delivery man was helpful and friendly. Everything arrived on time and there was no damage to anything. It all fit perfectly. Most impressive was how they matched up my choice of paint colour. Fantastic company. Great prices. Superb customer service.
Foxstow were a joy to deal with. From factory tour to delivery of finished cabinets. We chose them because we wanted cabinets veneered with real wood. Seeing the factory was great. Mark was spot-on with drawings and alterations and that gave us confidence that the finished products would be spot-on. Which they were.
I'm really happy with the wardrobe doors I got from Foxstow. They went onto an Ikea pax wardrobe which my builder had modified to fill the entire available gap. Foxstow were really easy to communicate with and were happy to accommodate my bespoke size, colour and hinge placements. My builder was very impressed too and said he'd keep them in mind as they were better quality and cheaper than what he could have done himself.
Such a wonderful product. The doors elevate IKEA pax wardrobe carcasses to a far higher level. So pleased with our first order of doors we are ordering again.
Excellent service from start to finish - the staff were very helpful and really made the overall service first-class. My items were packaged incredibly well and suffice to say the quality of the cabinet doors and draws I ordered are superb. I would highly recommend this company and will certainly use them again.
I worked with the team at Shaker Doors on my kitchen and wardrobes. I have nothing but an exceptionally high recommendation for this company, so much so, that I continue to work with Shaker Doors for all my interior design clients at Folly Interiors. The team continually embrace new creative concepts presented to them - some of which they haven't produced before - delivering them to an excellent standard and surpassing both mine and my client's expectations.
The quality of the work, the communication and working to a critical path has been nothing but excellent, and most importantly, working through production challenges as they arise and keeping everything in budget - in my experience, all part of the process. Thanks for all your ongoing help.
Shaker doors were great. They sent me out loads of samples, responded to emails quickly & when I made a monster mistake, with measuring up, they sorted everything out with one phone call.
We are super happy with the result, you would never know they aren’t fully bespoke fitted wardrobes.
Excellent product and helpful responses from the company to questions. Not cheap but high quality
Fantastic service from Foxstow Joinery.
Great communication, time frame shorter than I expected and the product is great. I would definitely recommend and will use again
Excellent service provided! Bespoke, top qaulity, prompt and attentive througout. Would highly recommend.
Really friendly team and great to work with, the final product is beautiful.
Your Cabinetry Partner
A bedroom rarely exists in isolation from the rest of a home. Many of our projects form part of wider renovations, where consistency in proportion and materials becomes especially important.
We regularly collaborate with architects, interior designers, and contractors, coordinating bedroom cabinetry with the surrounding architectural elements of the property. By becoming involved early in the process, technical considerations can be resolved before they become issues, ensuring the cabinetry feels properly integrated within the wider design.

Most Frequently Asked Kitchen Questions
Bespoke at Foxstow means that storage is developed from the room itself. We do not work from a fixed range or adapt standard sizes to fit.
Instead, layout, proportions and internal configuration are resolved in direct response to the space; how it is shaped, how it will be used, and how the cabinetry needs to sit within it. Materials, construction and detailing follow from those decisions, not from a catalogue.
Yes. If your existing wardrobe carcasses are structurally sound but the doors no longer suit the room, Foxstow produces fully custom replacement doors and panels to a bespoke specification.
This is not an off-the-shelf service; each component is made to your exact measurements and requirements, using the same materials and manufacturing process as our built-from-scratch work.
It is a particularly well-considered route for clients with PAX, Howdens or similar systems who want a significant improvement in quality without replacing the underlying structure. Get in touch to discuss what is possible.
Yes, Foxstow can make angled doors and cabinets, including solutions for sloping ceilings and other non-standard layouts, and we can advise on the best approach for the space.
Timelines for bespoke bedroom cabinetry will vary depending on the size of the room and the complexity of the design, but most projects take several weeks from final design approval through to manufacture and installation.
A more detailed schedule will be provided once your bedroom layout and specifications have been finalised.
At Foxstow, our bedroom cabinetry is made to suit each individual project, so costs vary depending on size, materials, and specifications. We aim to offer excellent value for the quality provided, and we recommend getting in touch for a tailored quote.
Yes, we provide a full design service for our cabinetry, using AutoCAD to produce detailed plans and elevation drawings. This service applies to full cabinetry projects rather than doors-only orders.
Yes, we can colour-match to a wide range of shades from leading paint manufacturers, allowing you to achieve a finish that complements your bedroom. As our paint system differs from off-the-shelf products, there may be slight variations in appearance.
We use responsibly sourced materials throughout our cabinetry. Our timber is supplied through trusted partners with full chain-of-custody, including oak from Northern Italy (sourced from managed Croatian forests) and tulipwood from the Appalachian Mountains, alongside MDF produced in Belgium.
We work with a select group of trusted fitters based around Oxfordshire, typically within a 50-mile radius, and can arrange installation where appropriate. For projects further afield, we can recommend using a local fitter and are happy to provide guidance to support the process.
If any issues arise and they are our responsibility, we handle them directly in-house rather than relying on third-party processes. This means you can expect a straightforward and responsive aftercare service from our team.
