About Foxstow
Designed, Made, & Installed in
West Oxfordshire
Foxstow designs and manufactures bespoke kitchens, cabinetry, doors, and joinery from our workshop in West Oxfordshire.
Founded in 2012 by husband-and-wife team Olly and Maco, the business began with an idea that grew from Olly's experience running a construction company. While working on a residential project, he wanted to achieve the look of a bespoke kitchen without the need for a fully bespoke cabinetry system. This led to the development of made-to-measure doors and panels designed to work with standard kitchen cabinetry, and Shaker Doors was established.
Since then, the business has grown into Foxstow, with an established team of designers and joiners. Today, we work with homeowners, builders, architects, and interior designers on projects across the UK, combining considered design with the practical knowledge and manufacturing capability needed to deliver it.
Our work includes fully bespoke kitchens and cabinetry, as well as replacement and made-to-measure doors for existing cabinetry. Whatever the starting point, the aim is to create something that works properly within the room and is made to last.

The Foxstow Story
Over time, the business has developed beyond made-to-measure doors. As the team, workshop, and manufacturing capabilities grew, we began designing and manufacturing complete bespoke kitchens and fitted cabinetry, alongside the doors and components that formed the foundation of the business. That development ultimately led to Foxstow as it is today.
Foxstow has been built by husband-and-wife team Olly and Maco, who have grown the business together since 2012. Today, while the business remains very much shaped by their shared vision, it is also the work of a dedicated and experienced team.
Many of the people around us have played an important part in Foxstow's growth and development over the years, and we're genuinely grateful for the contribution each of them makes.

From Shaker Doors to Foxstow
Some clients may know us by our previous name, Shaker Doors.
As the business developed, the range of work we produced expanded beyond replacement kitchen doors. Alongside doors for IKEA and Howdens, Foxstow increasingly began designing and manufacturing complete kitchens, fitted furniture, and tailored joinery.
The name Foxstow reflects that broader capability and the direction of the business today.
While the name has changed, the experience, workshop and people behind the work remain the same.

The People
Behind the Work
Foxstow has always been a team effort. We're fortunate to have a skilled and dedicated group of people around us, and the business we've built today wouldn't exist without their contribution.
From the first conversation through to the finished installation, our team brings together experience in design, surveying, technical planning, manufacturing, and joinery. Each project involves different skills at different stages, but we work closely together to maintain continuity throughout the process.
Design
Our designers work with clients to understand the room, how it will be used, and what the finished scheme needs to achieve. They help develop ideas into considered designs that balance the overall look of the space with the practical requirements of everyday use.
Survey & Technical Planning
Accurate surveying and technical planning are central to the way our projects are delivered. Before manufacturing begins, we carefully consider dimensions, existing conditions, technical details, and installation requirements to ensure the cabinetry is developed around the space it is being made for.
Workshop & Manufacturing
Our workshop team brings approved designs to life, manufacturing bespoke cabinetry, doors, and joinery from our West Oxfordshire workshop. Their experience and attention to detail play an essential role in turning the design into a finished product.
Installation
Our installation team brings the final stages of the project together, fitting the cabinetry and joinery within the completed space.
By maintaining continuity from design and technical planning through to manufacture and installation, we can keep the different stages of each project closely connected.
Made in Our West Oxfordshire Workshop
Every Foxstow product is manufactured in our own workshop.
This gives us direct control over the manufacturing process and allows our design and workshop teams to work closely together throughout a project. Details can be discussed directly, technical questions can be resolved before production, and each piece can be manufactured specifically for the space it is intended for.
Our workshop combines traditional joinery knowledge with modern manufacturing technology.
Our Manufacturing Capability
Our workshop combines traditional joinery knowledge with modern manufacturing technology, including CNC machining and automated spray finishing, allowing us to manufacture accurately and maintain control over quality throughout production.
Materials & Manufacturing
The quality of a finished piece depends on more than its design.
We select materials according to the requirements of each project, considering appearance, durability, intended use and how different finishes will perform over time.
We source our materials through established suppliers with responsible sourcing policies, helping us select the right materials and finishes for each individual project.

What We Make
We design and manufacture:
- Bespoke kitchens
- Fitted bedroom furniture and wardrobes
- Home office cabinetry
- Living room and media cabinetry
- Fitted storage
- Bespoke doors
- Joinery for other areas of the home
We also manufacture made-to-measure doors, panels, and components for cabinetry systems, including IKEA and Howdens.
This gives clients different ways to work with us. Some come to Foxstow for a complete, fully bespoke scheme. Others are looking for a tailored way to update or improve an existing kitchen or cabinetry arrangement.
Working With Homeowners & Professionals
Foxstow works directly with homeowners as well as with builders, architects, interior designers, and main contractors.
For residential projects involving multiple trades, cabinetry needs to work within a wider design and construction process. We can collaborate with project teams from the early stages, contributing practical manufacturing knowledge alongside drawings, specifications, and design requirements.
Whether we are working directly with a homeowner or as part of a wider professional team, the process is centred on clear communication and a practical understanding of how the finished work will be made and installed.

A Responsible Approach to Manufacturing
The way products are made and the materials used to make them matter.
At Foxstow, we manufacture our cabinetry in West Oxfordshire, working with trusted suppliers to source materials responsibly. We also use water-based, lower-VOC paints and look for practical ways to improve the efficiency of our manufacturing processes.
We believe longevity is an important part of responsible manufacturing. By making products to last - and offering bespoke replacement doors that can help extend the life of existing cabinetry - we aim to reduce unnecessary replacement and waste.
Sustainability remains an ongoing consideration in the way we source, design, and manufacture our products.
What Our Clients Say
We ordered our kitchen cabinet doors from Shaker Doors as they were the only door company offering slim shaker doors. The quality of the product was great and so was their customer service. We subsequently ordered more fronts for our utility room to match the kitchen ones. Couldn’t be happier. Thank you:)
Just an amazing company, I have had a lot of doors, panels etc in different styles made for me and all have been of the highest quality. The staff are very friendly and knowledgable of their products.
I would highly recommend Foxstow Kitchen and Cabinetry to all in need of their fantastic products.
I ordered wardrobe doors to fit the ikea pax, as well as a custom angled door. Foxstow were great - they were very responsive by email, the doors were perfectly to spec, and the doors easy to paint. They were definitely worth ordering from, and I'd recommend them!
Foxstow were excellent from start to finish. Jordan and Warren were both fantastic—professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I was kept informed throughout, including confirmation of the sizing and positioning of the panels and rails. Foxstow clearly know what they’re doing and operate with great efficiency.
Probably the best company I have ever dealt with. Jake was fantastic. He took us round the factory explaining all the stages that our order would go through and we were highly impressed with their set up and especially their quality control. He was never pushy. Once we accepted the quote they worked to our timetable. The delivery man was helpful and friendly. Everything arrived on time and there was no damage to anything. It all fit perfectly. Most impressive was how they matched up my choice of paint colour. Fantastic company. Great prices. Superb customer service.
Foxstow were a joy to deal with. From factory tour to delivery of finished cabinets. We chose them because we wanted cabinets veneered with real wood. Seeing the factory was great. Mark was spot-on with drawings and alterations and that gave us confidence that the finished products would be spot-on. Which they were.
I'm really happy with the wardrobe doors I got from Foxstow. They went onto an Ikea pax wardrobe which my builder had modified to fill the entire available gap. Foxstow were really easy to communicate with and were happy to accommodate my bespoke size, colour and hinge placements. My builder was very impressed too and said he'd keep them in mind as they were better quality and cheaper than what he could have done himself.
Such a wonderful product. The doors elevate IKEA pax wardrobe carcasses to a far higher level. So pleased with our first order of doors we are ordering again.
Excellent service from start to finish - the staff were very helpful and really made the overall service first-class. My items were packaged incredibly well and suffice to say the quality of the cabinet doors and draws I ordered are superb. I would highly recommend this company and will certainly use them again.
I worked with the team at Shaker Doors on my kitchen and wardrobes. I have nothing but an exceptionally high recommendation for this company, so much so, that I continue to work with Shaker Doors for all my interior design clients at Folly Interiors. The team continually embrace new creative concepts presented to them - some of which they haven't produced before - delivering them to an excellent standard and surpassing both mine and my client's expectations.
The quality of the work, the communication and working to a critical path has been nothing but excellent, and most importantly, working through production challenges as they arise and keeping everything in budget - in my experience, all part of the process. Thanks for all your ongoing help.
Shaker doors were great. They sent me out loads of samples, responded to emails quickly & when I made a monster mistake, with measuring up, they sorted everything out with one phone call.
We are super happy with the result, you would never know they aren’t fully bespoke fitted wardrobes.
Excellent product and helpful responses from the company to questions. Not cheap but high quality
Fantastic service from Foxstow Joinery.
Great communication, time frame shorter than I expected and the product is great. I would definitely recommend and will use again
Excellent service provided! Bespoke, top qaulity, prompt and attentive througout. Would highly recommend.
Really friendly team and great to work with, the final product is beautiful.
